1 Year Junior Trade Finance Executive | Banking | Up to $4200 #NKA

Location: Raffles Place

Duration: 1 year contract

Salary: Up to $4200 + 1 month completion bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end Trade Finance transactions for Singapore and Hong Kong, including Import/Export LCs, guarantees, payments, discounting, refinancing and risk participation.
• Ensure transactions are processed accurately within stipulated cut-off times, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Perform KYC validation and AML checks on trade finance transactions.
• Input transactions into Trade Finance systems and process SWIFT/payment messages, customer advices and related documentation.
• Handle supporting administrative duties, including document matching, filing and customer correspondence.
• Support digitalisation, BCP and other Trade Finance projects/initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the team.

Job Requirements:

• 3–5 years’ experience in Import/Export LC and bills processing.
• Strong knowledge of Commodity LCs, document checking and Trade Finance operations.
• Familiar with ICC rules, UCP, ISBP and ISP; CDCS certification is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Trade Finance due diligence, AML and sanctions checks.
• Experience with Trade Innovation Plus is an advantage.
• Meticulous, team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work on Singapore Public Holidays.
