Technical Marine Executive

About the Role

• We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Marine Executive to join our Ship Management Team.
• You will support our Technical and Marine Superintendents and Technical Managers in daily fleet operations — managing vessel records, coordinating repairs, supporting surveys, and following up with suppliers.
• This role combines administrative coordination with hands-on exposure, including attending vessels or shipyards when required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vessel technical documentation, survey status, and PMS updates.
• Coordinate with Superintendents on vessel repairs, inspections, and dry-docking schedules.
• Prepare reports, follow up on defect rectification, and update class/statutory records.
• Assist in budget tracking for repairs, maintenance, and consumables.
• Liaise with suppliers, shipyards, and contractors for quotations and job completion.
• Support internal audits and ensure compliance with ISM/ISPS/MLC/Class requirements.
• Participate in site visits or vessel inspections alongside the technical team.
• Handle general admin duties — scheduling, minutes of meetings, documentation, and filing.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Studies, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in technical, engineering, or ship management support.
• Good understanding of vessel operations or ship repair processes.
• Strong organizational skills with good attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with PMS systems (AMOS/Sertica) an advantage.
• Able to travel on short notice and work under time pressure.
• Positive attitude, team player, and eager to learn.
