Assistant Service Engineer/Technician

We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Assistant Service Engineer to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware equipments. The role involves field service, customer support and technical assistance to ensure smooth functioning of equipment.


Job Description
-Assist in the installation, configuration, and testing of card printers at customer sites
-Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for card printers
-Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues related to card printers
-Support senior engineers in service calls, repairs, and customer training
-Document all service activities, including service reports and technical issues
-Provide technical support via phone, email, or on-site visits
-Maintain tools, parts, and inventory related to card printer servicing
-Coordinate with Operations teams for timely service delivery
-Follow safety and operational procedures during all field activities
-To be cross-trained and be involved in other aspect of operations within the service team

Qualifications/Requirements
-Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/IT/Mechanical Engineering
-Minimum 1 year of experience in technical support or field service
-Exposure to card printers or similar products is an advantage
-Must possess strong problem-solving skills
-Must possess adequate interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
-Must possess adequate written and verbal communication skills in English
