KeyResponsibilities & Accountabilities
1.R&D Strategy & Technical Leadership (20%)
- Define and drive the R&D strategy for data center systems, including but not limited to Power infrastructure (UPS, MV/LV distribution)/Cooling systems (air/liquid cooling)/IT infrastructure integration
- Establish standardized, modular solution architectures for repeatable deployment.
- Ensure alignment between R&D, Design, and project delivery teams.
2. SystemDesign & Integration (30%)
- Lead end-to-end system-level design and integration across multidisciplinary domains.
- Develop reference designs, solution blueprints, and productized offerings.
- Define key design assumptions, performance benchmarks, and validation criteria.
- Ensure interoperability, reliability, and scalability across all subsystems.
3.Innovation & Technology Development (20%)
- Track and evaluate emerging technologies in High-efficiency power systems/Advanced cooling (liquid, immersion, rear-door heat exchangers)/AI workload infrastructure requirements/etc.
- Lead proof-of-concept (POC), feasibility studies, and pilot deployments.
- Drive innovation in Energy efficiency/Sustainability (PUE optimization, carbon reduction)/Standardization and prefabrication
4. Cost& Performance Optimization (15%)
- Lead TCO modeling and optimization across system/product designs.
- Define design-to-cost frameworks and benchmarking standards.
5. TeamLeadership & Capability Building (15%)
- Build and lead a high-performing international R&D and engineering team.
- Develop deep expertise across electrical, mechanical, and IT system integration.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Qualifications& Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
Experience:
- 10+ years in data center engineering, systems design, or technology development.
- Exposure to modular data center solutions, prefabrication, or productized systems is highly preferred.
- 5+ years leading R&D, design, or engineering teams.
- Strong experience in system integration environments (e.g., SI, EPC, OEM, or technology provider).
- Proven track record delivering large-scale data center system designing.
- Experience translating emerging technologies into deployable solutions.
- Experience working on international projects preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
TechnicalExpertise:
- Deep knowledge of Electrical systems (UPS, switchgear, power distribution)/Cooling technologies (air and liquid cooling solutions)/IT infrastructure requirements and rack-level design
- Strong capability in System integration across multiple disciplines/TCO modeling and technical decision-making
- Familiarity with Uptime Tier standards and Green data center best practices
Language:
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin to communicate with China suppliers as well as international clients.
