Assistant Quantity Surveyor Manager [5 DAYS / A1 CONTRACTOR / CHANGI] (KCKC)

• Location: Changi Business Park
• Industry: A1 Main Contractor | Building Construction
• Mon to Fri, from 8.30am to 5.15pm
• Salary is $7,000 - $8,000+ Variable Bonus [ No AWS ]

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7–8 years of relevant quantity surveying experience in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare Measurements and Tender Documentation
•Review and validate quantity take-offs using Building Information Modelling (BIM) and quantity surveying software.
•Review Bills of Quantities (BQ), Schedule of Rates (SOR), preliminaries, and trade preambles.
•Review technical specifications and tender / contract documentation prepared by consultants.

Drive Cost Planning and Control
•Prepare and review project cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans.
•Monitor project budgets and forecast project costs and cash flow.
•Analyse project cost performance and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
•Review lifecycle costing and value engineering proposals.

Define Tender and Procurement Strategies
•Support procurement planning and subcontractor sourcing strategies.
•Review tender invitations and procurement documentation.
•Evaluate tender submissions and prepare tender comparison reports.

Manage Post-Contract Administration
•Review and certify interim payment claims and payment recommendations.
•Assess variation orders, extension of time (EOT), and contractual claims.
•Review and negotiate final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
