Private Bank - MIS and Reporting Officer (One Year Contract)

Job Summary

Support back-office operations for Singapore and Hong Kong Booking Centres by managing data extraction, MIS reporting, regulatory submissions, and trade processing to ensure accurate and timely operational and compliance outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with internal partners and departments to extract data for MIS, audit, and regulatory requests
• Coordinate with stakeholders to compile and submit management information, regulatory reports, and audit data on OTC Derivative products
• Set up market rules and approve trades from the Pretrade Validation queue to ensure compliance with trading policies
• Manage subaccount openings for Trade Processing and Corporate Action teams to support operational workflows
• Participate in User-Acceptance-Testing to validate system changes and enhancements
• Uphold standards of honesty, integrity, due care, diligence, fair dealing, conflict of interest management, and compliance with laws and regulations
• Work with relevant teams to fulfill regulatory requirements and ensure data extraction follows need-to-know principles with proper approvals and controls
• Complete mandatory trainings to maintain competence and compliance
• Review operational processes to identify risks and implement mitigating controls with a risk and control mindset
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels to facilitate smooth operations and issue resolution
• Demonstrate initiative, passion, and teamwork to excel in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree qualification with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Banking or related discipline
• Proficiency in MS Office software including macros to support data analysis and reporting
• Competence in using data extraction tools and management information systems for operational reporting

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with VBA and SQL to enhance data extraction and automation capabilities
• End-to-end knowledge of the private banking value chain to understand operational impacts
