We’re looking for a Business Development Executive who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and has a strong commercial mindset to drive growth for our publications and services.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our Business Development team, you will:
Drive sales growth by developing and executing strategic business plans
Manage end-to-end marketing and distribution across retail, schools, institutions, government agencies, and e-commerce platforms
Plan and execute advertising campaigns, events, exhibitions, and roadshows—from logistics and manpower planning to post-event evaluation
Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams
Present compelling product value propositions, handle objections, negotiate terms, and close deals
Lead order planning, forecast print quantities, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams
Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international clients, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction
Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions, including quotations, follow-ups, and issue resolution
Provide consistent after-sales support and manage client feedback
Analyse sales performance, generate reports, and conduct market research to uncover growth opportunities
Conduct business reviews, sales meetings, and presentations to drive adoption and brand visibility
Collaborate closely with Editorial, Production, Sales Admin, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure smooth execution
Support pricing reviews, payment follow-ups, and project implementation
Perform other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related discipline
At least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused sales or business development environment
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong understanding of the publishing industry, including market trends, distribution channels, and emerging technologies
