We are a MUIS Halal-certified food and beverage company in Singapore, operating a full-service restaurant with a focus on quality food, strict Halal compliance, and operational excellence. We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our kitchen team.

Job Summary

Join our team as a Assistant Cook to prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and standards, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support daily kitchen operations while ensuring compliance with Halal and food safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and standards.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation are consistent.
• Comply with MUIS Halal requirements during food preparation and handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations.
• Follow food safety regulations and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assist in food preparation, ingredient storage, and stock rotation.
• Monitor food inventory and inform supervisors when replenishment is required.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Perform any other kitchen-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Competencies and Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of cooking experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
• Ability to prepare food efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Competencies

• Experience working in a Halal-certified kitchen is an advantage.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays.

Other Information

• Salary Range: SGD 3,300-4500 (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 6 days per week
• Location: Sembawang Mrt Station
