Job Description
- Manage assigned customer accounts and maintain satisfactory service levels by ensuring customer requirements and agreed service standards are met.
- Coordinate and arrange daily warehouse inbound and outbound operations, working closely with customers, warehouse teams, transport vendors and internal functions.
- Monitor order fulfilment, shipment status and operational activities, and provide timely updates to customers.
- Manage warehouse inventory to maintain a high level of accuracy, including stock reconciliation, cycle counts, discrepancy investigation and inventory adjustments.
- Prepare customized inventory, operational and customer reports according to customer requirements.
- Handle customer enquiries, operational exceptions and inventory discrepancies, and coordinate timely corrective actions with relevant parties.
- Prepare and verify shipment and operational documentation, including checking customs declaration forms against shipping documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain accurate and timely transaction records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other relevant systems.
- Prepare customers’ monthly statements, billing information and invoices, ensuring chargeable activities are accurately captured and billed on time.
- Monitor service performance and operational KPIs, and support customer review meetings where required.
- Identify recurring operational or service issues and work with relevant teams to improve processes, service quality and operational efficiency.
- Support new customer onboarding, implementation of operational requirements and other duties or projects assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma, Degree or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in contract logistics, 3PL, warehousing or supply chain customer service.
- Good understanding of warehouse inbound/outbound operations, inventory management, order fulfilment and logistics documentation.
- Experience in customer account management, inventory reporting and billing/invoicing is preferred.
- Familiarity with customs and shipping documentation would be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with WMS, ERP or other logistics systems is preferred.
- Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with customers, operations teams and vendors.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and follow through on operational issues in a fast-paced working environment.
