Freelance Academic Marker

About the Role

We are looking for responsible and detail-oriented freelance markers to assist with marking students' worksheets, assignments and assessment papers. Marking assignments will be allocated based on subject requirements and your area(s) of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Mark students' worksheets, assignments and assessment papers according to provided answer keys and marking guidelines.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and fairness when marking.
• Complete marking assignments within the stipulated deadlines.
• Provide brief annotations or feedback where required.
• Maintain confidentiality of all student materials.

Requirements

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Prior teaching, tutoring or marking experience is an advantage.
• Familiarity with the Singapore school syllabus is preferred.

Remuneration

• $10 per hour
• Freelance, ad hoc assignments based on operational needs.
• Flexible working arrangements
• Marking to be done onsite
