Insurance Specialist (FSM Global)

FSM Global is seeking a knowledgeable and client-focused Insurance Specialist to join our in-house team. In this role, you will guide clients through their protection planning journey by conducting comprehensive needs analysis, identifying protection gaps, and recommending suitable insurance solutions. As the firm's insurance subject matter expert, you will support internal teams with product expertise, stay abreast of industry developments, and collaborate on initiatives that enhance client engagement and service delivery.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for insurance products and solutions offered by FSM Global.

• Support clients with life and general insurance solutions aligned with their financial needs and goals.

• Conduct comprehensive needs analysis to identify protection gaps and present tailored insurance recommendations that address clients' financial needs and goals in a clear, professional, and client-focused manner.

• Review clients' existing insurance portfolios to identify protection gaps and optimise overall coverage.

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through regular engagement and quality service.

• Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory updates, and new product launches, evaluating their relevance to clients and sharing insights with clients and internal teams.

• Assist with insurance applications, policy servicing, renewals, and claims support while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with internal teams on client outreach initiatives, educational campaigns, and cross-functional projects to enhance client reach and engagement.

• Contribute to process improvements that enhance client experience and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline. CFP/AFP qualification will be an advantage.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• Excellent presentation, communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

• Licensed in life insurance and general insurance.

• Good knowledge of insurance products, regulations, and industry best practices.

• Proven experience in insurance advisory, financial planning, or a related client-facing role.

• High level of integrity, professionalism, and client-centricity.

• Adaptable and willing to learn new technologies and digital tools.
