EMT Role

• Transport residents from the nursing home for their routine medical appointments and admission/discharge
• Coordinate with the Staff Nurses in the planning of the route and time of transport.
• Maintain cleanliness and working condition of the van.
• Attends to any other delivery requirements or errands when needed.

Care Assistant Role

• Assists the registered nurses in the delivery of nursing care to the residents in the Home.
• Assists the physiotherapist in the delivery of therapeutic activities to the residents in the Home
• Helps to maintain a clean, safe and neat environment for the residents in the nursing home.

Requirements:

• Relevant EMT course with SCDF/SAF
• AED/BCLS Certified
• Able to work under high pressure and fast pace environment

Successful applicants without the qualifications will be sent for Certificate in Community Care (Community Care Traineeship Programme) with all courses funded by the employer.
