What You’ll Do

Design Development

* Work closely with homeowners to understand their design aspirations and functional requirements.

* Develop practical design solutions that are beautiful, buildable and cost-effective.

* Coordinate architectural and interior design details throughout the project.

* Review materials, finishes and detailing to achieve premium quality.

Technical Detailing

* Produce detailed construction drawings for site execution.

* Review shop drawings submitted by suppliers and subcontractors.

* Ensure every drawing complies with project specifications and design intent.

* Resolve technical clashes before construction begins.

* Develop construction details that are practical for our carpenters and site teams.

* Continuously improve YouBuild’s library of standard details and best practices.

Site & Construction Coordination

* Work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors and consultants.

* Visit project sites regularly to verify workmanship.

* Ensure suppliers and subcontractors build strictly according to approved drawings.

* Review mock-ups and prototypes before production.

* Identify potential issues early and propose practical solutions

Carpentry & Interior Coordination

* Read and interpret detailed carpentry drawings.

* Improve joinery details for aesthetics, durability and ease of installation.

* Coordinate with carpenters to ensure every detail is understood before fabrication.

* Review factory shop drawings before production.

* Ensure cabinetry, stone, metalwork, lighting and other finishes integrate seamlessly.

Supplier Management

* Coordinate with:

* Carpenters

* Marble suppliers

* Metal fabricators

* Glass contractors

* Lighting suppliers

* Kitchen specialists

* Wardrobe suppliers

* Door and ironmongery suppliers

* Ensure all shop drawings, samples and materials comply with approved specifications.

* Maintain excellent communication with suppliers throughout the project.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

* Degree or Diploma in Architecture or Interior Design

* Experience in luxury residential projects

* Strong understanding of construction detailing

* Able to read architectural, interior and shop drawings confidently

* Excellent AutoCAD skills

* Good understanding of carpentry detailing

* Strong coordination and communication skills

* Detail-oriented with high quality standards

* Comfortable working on-site as well as in the office

Bonus if you have experience with

* SketchUp

* Revit

* BIM coordination

* Enscape / Twinmotion

* Kitchen detailing

* Wardrobe detailing

* Singapore residential construction
