Firebird by Suetomi is a premier fine-dining destination in Singapore, specializing in an exquisite 15-course yakitori experience. Each dish is meticulously crafted to highlight the artistry of Japanese grilling, seasonal ingredients, and unparalleled flavour balance.

We are seeking a passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team and play a key role in delivering a world-class, immersive dining journey for our guests.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, focusing on the preparation of our 15-course yakitori menu.

• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, temperature, and presentation of every dish.

• Prepare mise-en-place and support smooth kitchen workflow.

• Maintain and care for kitchen machinery, tools, and equipment.

• Assist in inventory management, including ordering and receiving ingredients.

• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations during food preparation.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (minimum Level 1).

• Strong understanding of ingredient preparation, storage, and fine-dining kitchen practices.

• Passionate, positive, and eager to learn; we welcome aspiring chefs, even with limited experience in Japanese cuisine or yakitori.
