👩‍🍳 Service Crew – Job Description

Role Overview

As a Service Crew Member, you will play an important role in delivering excellent customer service and supporting smooth restaurant operations in a Chinese F&B restaurant environment. You will be responsible for supporting various service stations, including cashier, bar, hostess, dine-in and takeaway operations.

Key Responsibilities

🔸 Cashier

• Greet customers warmly and process dine-in and takeaway orders accurately.
• Handle cash, credit card and digital payments responsibly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station.

🔸 Bar Crew

• Prepare and serve Chinese teas, soft drinks and other beverages according to established standards.
• Ensure consistency, quality and presentation of all beverages.
• Maintain proper hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards.

🔸 Hostess / Guest Service

• Welcome and assist customers professionally upon arrival.
• Manage reservations, walk-ins and table seating efficiently.
• Provide attentive and courteous service throughout the dining experience.
• Maintain a friendly and composed manner, particularly during peak periods.

🔸 Main Station Coordinator – Dine-In & Takeaway

• Coordinate the smooth flow of dine-in and takeaway orders.
• Liaise closely with the kitchen, service and delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
• Monitor order progress and proactively resolve service issues.
• Communicate clearly with team members to maintain efficient restaurant operations.

Job Requirements

• Prior experience in a Chinese F&B / restaurant environment is an advantage.
• Customer-oriented with a positive, friendly and service-focused attitude.
• Able to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin is essential, as the restaurant serves both Chinese-speaking and non-Chinese-speaking customers.
• Energetic, responsible and able to work effectively in a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced Chinese restaurant environment.
• Willing to learn, take initiative and develop new skills.
• Able to stand for extended periods and carry food trays when required.
• Prior F&B experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
