About the role
The Senior Accounts Executive is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing periodic financial reports and annual financial statements, managing payables and receivables, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing financial analysis and project cost control management.
Key responsibilities
Manage the accounts payable, including invoice verification, payment processing and vendor statements reconciliation to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Manage the accounts receivable, including timely and accurate customer billing, tracking outstanding invoices, and managing collections.
Manage employee claims matters
Maintain effective communication with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding accounts payable and accounts receivable matters.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, various reconciliations, and supporting documentation together with respective schedules.
Prepare monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations.
Prepare annual financial statements and assist in and/or review the preparation of annual return from the Company Secretary.
Prepare financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.
Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
Monitor project budget and manage cost incurred, ensuring no cost overrun.
About you
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in managing full set of accounts.
Proven experience as an Account Executive or in a similar role.
Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Bilingual in English and Chinese.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience and familiarity with Accounting Software such as QuickBooks and/or Xero is a plus.
