Factory Production Manager

Job Summary

Art Sign International Pte Ltd seeks an experienced Factory Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations, optimize production scheduling, ensure quality control, and manage shop floor teams for custom signage and display fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily factory operations including job scheduling, production capacity planning, and resource allocation to meet delivery timelines and client specifications
• Manage and direct production team members, workshop technicians, and machine operators to achieve optimal productivity, maintain discipline, and uphold safety standards
• Ensure all finished products comply with quality control standards, structural specifications, and safety guidelines before site installation
• Drive production efficiency by reducing material waste, implementing Lean manufacturing practices, and streamlining workflows across cutting, fabrication, assembly, and finishing teams
• Coordinate raw material inventory, tooling, equipment maintenance, and consumable usage to minimize operational downtime
• Collaborate with sales, design, engineering, and project management teams to review technical drawings, resolve design-for-manufacturability issues, and accommodate urgent job requests

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in factory, production, or manufacturing environments, including at least 2–3 years in managerial or supervisory roles
• Strong knowledge of custom fabrication processes, machinery optimization, structural safety, and quality assurance principles
• Proven leadership in managing shop floor teams, handling fast-turnaround production schedules, and maintaining workplace safety practices such as 6S/5S
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team management skills
