• Working Days: Monday - Friday, Saturday half day WFH
• Working Hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm | 830am - 1230pm
• Working Location: Dhoby Ghaut, travelling to site may be required
• Salary: $6,000 – $8,000

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the commercial and financial management of assigned projects in accordance with the company’s commercial strategy.
• Oversee project procurement to ensure timely award and compliance with procurement policies and schedules.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, cash flow, valuations, variations, and financial reporting to maximise project profitability.
• Handle contract administration matters, including change management, extension of time (EOT), loss and expense claims, and contractual notices.
• Prepare, submit, and negotiate payment applications, payment certificates, and final accounts to ensure timely cash collection.
• Conduct regular commercial reviews with project teams to identify risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
• Lead, guide, and develop Quantity Surveyors, including providing support and identifying training needs.
• Support tender submissions by providing commercial and financial input.
• Maintain proper commercial documentation and ensure compliance with contractual and company requirements.
• Represent the commercial team in internal and external project meetings.
• Proactively manage commercial risks and opportunities through proper cost reporting.
• Prepare and submit commercial reports accurately and on time.

Job Requirements:

• Relevant experience in commercial management, quantity surveying, contract administration, or related field.
• Have leadership experience in managing or guiding a QS team throughout the project lifecycle.
• Direct experience handling different project values, contract forms, and procurement routes.
• Experience in fitting-out and construction sectors will be advantageous.
• MCIOB or MRICS qualification will be advantageous.
