Group Finance Manager (Consolidation and Reporting) | Manufacturing Sector

Our client is a Singapore-headquartered manufacturing company with operations across Asia. Due to continued business growth, they are looking to appoint a Group Finance Manager to join their Group Finance team.

Reporting to the Group Finance Controller, this is a hands-on Group Finance role with a strong focus on Group consolidation, financial reporting and technical accounting. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the monthly Group reporting process while leading a small finance team.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates who started their career in external audit and have since moved into a commercial Group Finance environment, gaining solid experience in Group consolidation and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and year-end Group consolidation and financial reporting process
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS/SFRS
• Ensure timely and accurate Group reporting for management and statutory purposes.
• Review financial submissions from regional business units and resolve consolidation issues.
• Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on new accounting standards and complex transactions
• .Drive improvements in the Group reporting and consolidation process, including system enhancements and automation initiatives.
• Support finance transformation and ERP improvement projects where required.
• Lead and mentor a small Group Finance team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of finance experience, including 4–5 years in Big 4 external audit.
• Strong hands-on commercial experience in Group Finance, with Group consolidation and financial reporting forming the core of your role.
• Experience preparing consolidated financial statements for a regional or multinational gr
• Strong technical accounting knowledge under IFRS/SFRS
• Experience working in the manufacturing, industrial, engineering, semiconductor or technology sectors will be advantageous
• Proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a hands-on environment.
