Medical and Dialysis Escort

We are looking for responsible and compassionate individuals to join us as Medical & Dialysis Escorts to support clients travelling to and from hospitals, clinics and dialysis centres.

Job Responsibilities

• Escort and accompany clients to and from medical appointments and dialysis sessions.

• Assist clients with safe movement and navigation within hospitals, clinics and dialysis centres.

• Provide appropriate support to elderly clients and clients with mobility difficulties.

• Assist with wheelchair users where required.

• Ensure clients are safely handed over to the appropriate family member, caregiver or healthcare personnel.

• Accompany clients during appointments where required and provide basic assistance and reassurance.

• Manage waiting time appropriately and ensure clients are not left unattended when assistance is required.

• Follow established SOPs, safety procedures and service standards.

• Report any changes in the client's condition, incidents or concerns to the appropriate person.

• Complete basic job documentation and service records.

• Maintain professionalism, patience, confidentiality and respect for clients at all times.

Requirements

• Responsible, patient and compassionate with good interpersonal skills.

• Comfortable working with elderly clients and individuals with mobility difficulties.

• Physically able to assist with basic mobility and wheelchair-related support.

• Good communication skills in English.

• Ability to communicate in other languages is an advantage.

• Able to work independently and follow instructions and SOPs.

• Willing to work on a freelance basis and accept assignments based on availability.

• Prior experience in healthcare, caregiving, medical escort, nursing, social care or elderly care is an advantage but not essential.

• Relevant training or certification in caregiving, healthcare, first aid, BCLS or related areas will be an advantage.

Training & Attachment

Successful applicants will undergo an attachment and competency assessment before being deployed independently. The programme will include observation and hands-on sessions with a mentor to familiarise candidates with the actual job requirements, safety procedures and service standards.
