Accounting Manager (Tuas)

Location: West

ACCOUNTING MANAGER

· Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable(AR), General Ledger (GL), fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.

· Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management accounts, and financial reports.

· Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities.

· Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting processes.

· Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

· Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities on financial and compliance matters.

· Review and enhance accounting policies, internal controls, and financial procedures to improve operational efficiency.

· Analyse financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to enhance profitability and cost management.

· Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team to ensure high standards of performance and accuracy.

· Provide financial analysis and support to management, and undertake ad hoc projects and assignments as required.

Requirements:

· Degree in Accountancy with professional accounting qualifications preferred

· Experienced accounting manager with both experience in external audit and experience in leading and managing accounting team

· Proven experience in intercompany accounting and group consolidation

· Proven experience in managing / improving end-to-end financial closing process

· Knowledge in ERP software (especially accounting module)
