About this job

The Senior Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining processes and systems that support strategic finance and staff data initiatives and operational service delivery. He/She evaluates the effectiveness of finance and staff information systems and liaises with various departments to understand data reporting requirements. He/She also sets objectives for data analysis, improves analytical models where necessary, and proposes dashboards to track key performance indicators and measure impact.

The Senior Manager adopts an analytical and methodical approach to addressing issues, expected to leverage on systems thinking and artificial intelligence to enhance finance and staff systems and processes, and is at ease working with technical systems and data, and able to derive and communicate insights in a compelling manner.

He/She shall also work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors on the Planning, Development, Data Migration, User Acceptance Testing, Training and Implementation of finance and staff management systems, which also include adherence to compliance and governance controls.

Implement finance and staff management systems

  • Identify strategic and operational needs for finance and staff managements systems
  • Synthesise organisational requirements and budget constraints
  • Present business case for new system implementation or system enhancements to senior management
  • Conduct Request for Proposal (RFP) process for finance and staff management systems
  • Evaluate available management systems and vendors to recommend a suitable option
  • Determine system functionalities and customisations to be incorporated in management systems
  • Design implementation plan for management systems
  • Lead implementation and roll-out of management systems
  • Ensure implemented management systems meet compliance and governance requirements

Internal Stakeholders and Vendor Management

  • Ensure organisation requirements for finance and staff management systems are met
  • Manage Internal stakeholders and Vendor requirement by providing & proposing technical solutions when necessary.
  • Build productive relationships internally and externally with both Finance/HR and vendors by keeping them updated on activities and status.
  • Support User Acceptance Test
  • Support training for End Users
  • Liaise and Collation of Data for Data migration from existing systems to new systems

Acumen in finance and HR-related activity

  • Analyze Finance and HR requirements and propose solutions / opportunities for automation.
  • Evaluating and implementing necessary tools/processes to help maintain data integrity within Finance and HR processes.

Information Technology

  • Work with Ops Tech team to ensure management systems are able to run seamlessly within and outside of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environment; and
  • Security matters relating to Network / Data / Password etc are in-line with IT policy and control guidelines

Data, AI & Automation

  • Support development and execute a data strategy including data governance, architecture, quality, and accessibility across departments.
  • Directly drive execution of the development and adoption of:
  • Data integration, master data management (MDM), advanced data analytics and data development practices.
  • Generative AI related initiatives to ensure ethical use, enhance knowledge management, client communication, and productivity
  • Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to streamline repetitive processes such as reporting, compliance tracking, and client administration.

Qualifications

  • Good degree in Information Technology or Human Resource Management.
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Project Management, managing end-to-end of a HRIS project.
  • Candidate should be familiar with HR processes, software and tools, and Cloud infrastructure environment.
  • Knowledge of database systems, Software as a Service (SaaS).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
