HR Manager, Air/Sea Freight Forwarding/ Logistics

Centrum Solutions Pte Ltd is looking for an experienced HR Manager with a strong background in the Air & Sea Freight Forwarding industry to join our Singapore team.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of HR experience within an Air Freight, Sea Freight, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or International Transportation company
• Strong understanding of the freight forwarding and logistics working environment
• Good knowledge of Singapore employment regulations and HR practices
• Experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, payroll coordination, and HR administration
• Experience supporting operational and commercial teams within a freight forwarding environment
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills
• Ability to work independently and establish effective HR processes
• Fluent written and spoken English

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of HR activities for the Singapore office
• Lead recruitment for freight forwarding, operations, sales, commercial, and corporate positions
• Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with Singapore regulations
• Manage onboarding, employee documentation, performance reviews, leave, benefits, and employee relations
• Support management in manpower planning and organisational development
• Coordinate payroll-related HR matters and maintain accurate employee records
• Build a strong company culture and support the development of an international workforce
• Ensure HR practices are aligned with the operational needs of the Air & Sea Freight Forwarding business
