Automotive Service Advisor

We are seeking a customer-orientated Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. You will be the primary liaison between customers and service technician team to ensure a smooth service experience from check-in of vehicle to vehicle delivery. Knowledge of BMW vehicle will be a huge advantage.

Customer Liaison: Greet customers, listen to vehicle concerns or maintenance needs, and act as the main point of contact throughout the repair

Service Diagnosis: - Translate customer concerns into clear repair instructions for the automotive technicians. Take complex diagnostic readouts from technicians and explain them to the customer in plain, understandable terms
Cost Estimation: Sourcing the correct parts, calculating labor hours, and building a comprehensive estimate before work begins

Advising and Upselling: Recommend necessary preventative maintenance or complementary upgrades
Progress Updates: - Proactively keeping the customer informed if a job takes longer than expected, or if a specialized part is delayed in shipping

- Explaining the why behind recommended repairs to secure the customer's approval before the technicians proceed

Quality Assurance/Checkout: - Checking the final invoice against the original complaint to ensure everything requested was actually addressed

- Review work orders, complete billing paperwork and walk the customer through the final bill upon pickup, explaining the work performed, and advising them on future maintenance schedules
