Job Summary
Provide professional support in handling general insurance enquiries, processing policies, assisting with claims, and performing administrative tasks to ensure efficient insurance operations and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries about general insurance policies to ensure clear communication and customer satisfaction
- Liaise with insurers to obtain accurate quotations and process new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and policy documentation efficiently
- Assist customers with insurance claims by coordinating with insurers and following up to ensure timely resolution
- Manage incoming phone calls and emails to address general insurance enquiries and provide accurate information
- Perform administrative tasks including data entry, document preparation, filing, and record management to maintain organized and up-to-date records
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of insurance documentation to support smooth policy administration
- Collaborate with team members to complete additional administrative and operational tasks as assigned, contributing to overall team effectiveness
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum GCE "O" Level or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) to support documentation and communication tasks
- 1–2 years of administrative or customer service experience preferred to enhance job performance
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn, suitable for fresh candidates
- General Insurance certifications (BCP, PGI, ComGI, HI or equivalent) advantageous for deeper industry knowledge
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin (spoken and written) to liaise effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients via phone and email
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members
- Responsible, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and manage workload
