Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Associate to support the company’s accounting and finance operations in Singapore. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting activities, supporting month-end and year-end closing, and ensuring compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle full sets of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and relevant schedules.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Manage invoicing, payment processing, collections, and expense claims.
- Prepare GST calculations and support GST submissions to IRAS.
- Assist with corporate income tax schedules, audits, and statutory reporting.
- Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Monitor cash flow, outstanding receivables, and vendor payments.
- Review accounting entries and ensure proper supporting documentation.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Support improvements to accounting processes, controls, and reporting systems.
- Perform other finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience**; experience in Singapore is preferred.
- Experience handling full sets of accounts is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Singapore GST, IRAS requirements, and statutory compliance.
- Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Xero, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- ACCA, CA Singapore, CPA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
