Clinic Assistant

Working Location: Parkway East Hospital

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 5pm
Saturday: 8.30am to 1pm
Sunday and Public Holiday closed

Salary: $2,400 - $3,500 , depending on experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Answer phone calls and attend to patient enquiries in a professional manner.
• Schedule, coordinate and manage patient appointments.
• Assist with patient registration and ensure smooth clinic flow.
• Chaperone doctors during consultations when required.
• Assist with basic clinic procedures and provide support to nurses / doctors when needed.
• Coordinate and arrange timing for inpatient procedures or admissions.
• Liaise with insurance companies on claims, pre-authorisations and related matters.
• Assist with medication dispensing and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
• Manage clinic inventory, including stock take and replenishment of supplies.
• Tabulate and reconcile daily clinic financial takings and transactions.
• Perform general clinic administrative duties and other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Relevant working experience in clinic, specialist clinic, hospital or healthcare setting will be an advantage.
• Immediate starter or short notice candidates will be preferred
