About this job
- Assist and work with day to day production administrative works and operations of the Production/Processing Department by Engineer/Manager/Supervisor
- Support production operations functions with expert administrative support to the entire Production Team.
- Attend to production inquiries, calls, and email
- Responsible for updating and maintaining data and reviewing production records and orders.
- Responsible and maintain a proper record, filing for each department documents archival
- Issue of drawings to the relevant department for production
- Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price
- Obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items
- Obtaining approval from requisitioning department
- Assist to get supplier quotation
- Handle customer quotation enquiries
- Follow up on the on-going projects
- Co-ordinates on production schedule
- Data entry to ERP system, filing, photocopy and scanning
- Meticulous and organized with good time management
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask a high volume of tasks
- Ability to handle a very active desk supporting numerous simultaneous productions
