About Alpha Ladder Finance

Alpha Ladder Finance (ALFin) is a Singapore-based, MAS-regulated financial institution operating at the intersection of traditional finance, digital assets and capital markets.

ALFin's business spans areas including capital markets, digital assets, brokerage, custody, RWA tokenisation and institutional financial services. As the company continues its next phase of growth, we are seeking a commercially driven and strategically minded Chief Executive Officer to lead the business, scale its international presence and build a sustainable, institutional-grade financial platform.

Role Overview

The International Chief Executive Officer will have overall responsibility for ALFin's business strategy, commercial growth, financial performance, regulatory positioning and organisational development.

The CEO will work closely with the Board and senior management team to define and execute ALFin's long-term strategy, expand its institutional client and partner ecosystem, develop new markets and products, and strengthen the company's position as a trusted bridge between traditional financial markets and the digital asset economy.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of financial services leadership, commercial execution, regulatory understanding and international market experience, with the ability to operate across traditional finance and emerging digital asset markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Corporate Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute ALFin's overall corporate strategy in alignment with the Board's vision.

  • Establish clear short-, medium- and long-term business objectives and growth priorities.

  • Lead the organisation through its next phase of growth and international expansion.

  • Develop a scalable and sustainable business model across ALFin's key business lines.

  • Evaluate new business opportunities, markets, products, strategic investments and partnerships.

  • Maintain strong alignment between commercial growth, risk management and regulatory requirements.

2. Business Growth & Commercial Development

  • Drive revenue growth, profitability and overall business performance.

  • Build and scale ALFin's institutional client base across Singapore and international markets.

  • Develop relationships with:

    • Banks and financial institutions

    • Asset managers and institutional investors

    • Family offices

    • Exchanges and trading venues

    • Brokers and liquidity providers

    • Fintech and payment companies

    • Digital asset companies

    • Asset owners and issuers

    • Strategic technology partners

  • Lead high-value strategic negotiations and key institutional relationships.

  • Build a strong international ecosystem to support ALFin's growth.

3. RWA & Digital Asset Strategy

  • Define ALFin's strategic positioning in Real-World Assets (RWA), tokenisation and digital financial markets.

  • Identify opportunities to bring traditional financial assets onto regulated digital infrastructure.

  • Develop relationships with asset owners, issuers, institutional investors, blockchain networks, custodians and technology providers.

  • Evaluate opportunities involving tokenised securities, digital assets, stablecoins and blockchain-enabled financial infrastructure.

  • Ensure innovation remains commercially viable and aligned with regulatory expectations.

4. International Expansion

  • Develop and execute ALFin's international market expansion strategy.

  • Identify priority markets and establish market-entry plans.

  • Build relationships with regulators, financial institutions, strategic partners and industry stakeholders where appropriate.

  • Establish and lead regional business development initiatives.

  • Represent ALFin at major international financial, capital markets and digital asset forums.

  • Position ALFin as a credible and trusted institutional partner globally.

5. Regulatory & Risk Leadership

  • Maintain a strong culture of regulatory compliance and responsible growth.

  • Work closely with Compliance, Legal, Risk and other control functions to ensure business activities remain within applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure commercial initiatives are appropriately assessed from legal, compliance, operational and reputational risk perspectives.

  • Maintain constructive relationships with relevant regulators and industry bodies.

  • Promote strong governance, risk management and internal controls throughout the organisation.

6. Product & Business Development

  • Work with Product and Business teams to develop products aligned with market demand.

  • Identify new opportunities across:

    • Capital markets

    • Digital assets

    • RWA tokenisation

    • Brokerage

    • Custody

    • Institutional trading

    • Financial infrastructure

  • Ensure product strategy is commercially driven and supported by strong customer and market insights.

  • Translate market opportunities into executable business plans.

7. Organisational Leadership

  • Build, develop and retain a high-performing leadership team.

  • Establish a strong performance-driven and entrepreneurial culture.

  • Set clear accountability across business functions.

  • Develop succession planning and leadership development.

  • Ensure the organisation has the capabilities required to support future growth.

  • Champion collaboration across Commercial, Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Risk and Finance.

8. Board & Stakeholder Management

  • Provide the Board with regular updates on strategy, financial performance, business development, risks and key initiatives.

  • Prepare and present annual business plans, budgets and strategic initiatives.

  • Ensure effective communication with shareholders and key stakeholders.

  • Act as the primary senior representative of ALFin with major institutional and strategic partners.

Candidate Profile

Required Experience

  • 15+ years of relevant professional experience, with significant leadership experience in financial services.

  • Proven experience as a CEO, Managing Director, Country Head, Regional Head or senior executive within a financial institution, capital markets firm, fintech or related business.

  • Strong understanding of institutional financial markets and financial services.

  • Demonstrated track record of building and scaling businesses.

  • Proven experience managing P&L, commercial strategy and senior leadership teams.

  • Strong international business and partnership development experience.

  • Experience working within a regulated financial services environment.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas will be strongly preferred:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.

  • MBA, CFA, professional financial qualification or other relevant advanced qualification is advantageous.
