A growing engineering team in Singapore is looking for a

Sales Engineer (Technical)

to drive sales across technical systems, industrial products, calibration, and in-house services.

This role focuses on developing new customer relationships, conducting customer site visits, responding to RFQs, preparing technical proposals, and identifying new business opportunities.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage company sales accounts covering technical systems, products, calibration, and in-house services
• Conduct sales visits and customer site visits to understand requirements
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and product presentations
• Handle negotiations and drive sales through to closing
• Perform cold-calling to generate new leads and promote company products and services
• Respond promptly to product enquiries and RFQs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors
• Identify and develop new markets, customers, and business opportunities
• Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets
• Prepare weekly sales call plans, reports, and sales forecasts
• Support marketing activities, exhibitions, and other business development initiatives
• Provide technical and commercial support throughout the sales process

What we’re looking for

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in technical sales
• Able to communicate in Mandarin
• Working knowledge of hydraulics
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is an advantage
• Preferably with a valid driving license or reliable transport
• Willing to travel frequently, as customer site visits are required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities
• Outgoing, innovative, and highly motivated
• Proactive and comfortable working towards sales targets
• Strong hunter mentality with a genuine drive to develop new business
• Able to work independently and manage customer relationships effectively
