Insurance Broker (GI)

ComfortDelGro Insurance Brokers Pte Ltd invites suitably qualified candidates for the position of Insurance Executive for the General Insurance Business.

Job Scope:

• Assist the Managers in the day-to-day servicing of corporate account.

• Assist to conduct pre-renewal exercise, review clients' current program structure and ascertain new requirements, approach and strategy.

• Check policy documents against placement slips to ensure accuracy and completeness in wordings and coverage issued by underwriters including billing of assigned accounts.

• Assist in new business acquisition, renewal exercise, source quotations and do comparison.
• Develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with insurers, clients and colleagues through regular contact and liaison.
• Meet with clients for follow-up services and renewals.
• Ensure client needs are identified and implement successful account retention and defence strategies.
• Liaise and negotiate with insurers for best terms and rates for clients.
• Provide technical advice on policy coverage and assist clients to solve issues.
• Assist to prepare claims report as requested by clients.
• Keep abreast of all new technical product developments, changing market conditions and inform account team members, insurers and/or clients of major developments affecting various types of coverage, including recommending appropriate proposals to clients where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance and all regulatory requirements including complying with MAS rules and regulations.
