Senior Investigation Officer

- Investigate offences under the Tobacco andVaporisers Control Act (TVCA) by conducting comprehensive interviews and recordformal statements from witnesses and offenders.

- Supervise a dedicated team of investigation Officers,overseeing their daily task, tracking case progression and managing overallteam workload.

- Provide strategic guidance to team members oncomplex investigations, advising them on appropriate investigative angles, interviewtechniques, and evidence- gathering methods.

- Author comprehensive and structuredInvestigation Papers (IPs) that chronologically detail the fact of the case,background of the suspects, timelines and summaries of all recorded statements.

- Critically evaluate all gathered physical,digital and forensic evidences. Trace and investigate digital footprints,including social media accounts, e-commerce listings and messaging app groupsused for illegal vape distribution.

- Formulate clear, well-reasoned legalrecommendations within the IP on the precise charges under TVCA.

- Perform Duty IO as rostered, to act as the primary,immediate point of contact for IO cases attended to on that day.
