M&E RTO (IES/ACES) | 5.5 Days | Up to $6,000 - 0220

Position: M&E Resident Technical Officer (RTO)
Location: Project-based; current project is at Tanjong Pagar
Working Days: 5.5 days per week
Working Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Salary: Up to $6,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor M&E installation works to ensure compliance with contract specifications, approved designs, shop drawings and method statements.

• Check and ensure that equipment and materials used on site comply with approved specifications and requirements.

• Coordinate with M&E Specialist Contractors and Main Contractors to resolve site coordination issues and ensure smooth progress of works.

• Monitor the progress of M&E works and provide regular updates and reports to the Project Director / Project Manager.

• Conduct site inspections and ensure works are carried out according to approved methods and good site practices.

• Assist in checking shop drawings, catalogues, samples, progress claims and variation orders.

• Witness and monitor testing and commissioning activities and ensure proper documentation of results.

• Assist in checking and compiling as-built drawings and Operation & Maintenance Manuals.

• Maintain proper site records, including inspection reports, site logs, drawings and M&E documentation.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Director / Project Manager.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid IES/ACES M&E RTO Registration.

  Minimum 5 years of relevant site supervision experience in M&E works for building construction projects.

  Relevant M&E site supervision experience.

  Experience in construction projects.

  Strong knowledge of M&E installation works and site coordination.

  Able to read and understand M&E drawings, shop drawings and technical specifications.
