Assistant Finance Manager / Finance Manager

Role Purpose:
We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team and play a key role in financial and management reporting. This role combines operation and management accounting, financial accounting and cash management, ensuring timely financial and management reporting and statutory compliance.

The successful candidate will work closely with business units, management and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end financial closing, including journal postings, bank reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards and company policies.
• Liaise with external parties such as external auditors, company secretary, tax agents, bankers etc.
• Assist in preparing monthly group consolidation, group and regulatory reporting.
• Support treasury to ensure efficient liquidity and cash management including preparing monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Other ad-hoc finance and corporate matters assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

1. Qualifications: A recognised degree in Accounting or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting or audit experience.
3. Preferably with experience in the finance industry.
4. Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CA) is an advantage.
5. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation.
6. Experience with full set of accounts, month-end and year end closing processes.
7. High level of integrity and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
9. Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
