About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts & HR Executive to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role that offers exposure to both finance and human resource functions, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy variety and are looking to broaden their professional experience.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
- Manage full sets of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Process petty cash, staff claims, supplier payments, and receipts.
- Prepare and submit GST returns in a timely manner.
- Maintain schedules for prepayments, accruals, and fixed asset depreciation.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretarial service providers.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on billing discrepancies and payment collections.
Human Resources & Administration
- Support recruitment activities, including interview coordination, onboarding, and employee orientation.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records.
- Assist in implementing HR policies and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees on day-to-day HR matters and provide timely support.
- Foster positive workplace communication and assist in resolving employee concerns in a fair and professional manner.
- Support management in promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Coordinate staff engagement and welfare initiatives where applicable.
- Provide general office administrative support and undertake other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma in Accountancy, ACCA, LCCI, or equivalent qualifications.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or HR administration.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- A proactive team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
