Wellness Coaches (Adjunct)

As a Wellness Coach (Adjunct), you will engage with parents, children, and youths in virtual coaching sessions to help them reach their wellness goals. You will develop personalized wellness plans and provide ongoing support to promote healthier lifestyles and positive behavior changes.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual coaching sessions to assess clients' health status, identify goals, and develop personalized health management plans.
- Develop individualized and achievable wellness plans to support healthier lifestyle behaviors and long-term well-being.
- Provide practical guidance on healthy eating, physical activity, sleep hygiene, stress management, and daily routines.
- Support and motivate participants through regular follow-ups, progress tracking, and positive reinforcement.
- Maintain accurate documentation of coaching sessions, progress updates, and follow-up plans.
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism when handling personal and sensitive information.
- Build positive relationships with participants and families through empathetic and encouraging communication.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in a health-related field such as Nutrition, Counselling, Psychology, Sport Science, Health Coaching, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in wellness coaching, community health, healthcare, education, or youth-related programmes.
- Passion for working with children, youths, and families to support healthier lifestyle habits and positive behavioural changes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage participants from diverse backgrounds.
- Comfortable conducting virtual coaching sessions and using digital communication platforms.
- Empathetic, patient, and able to provide support in a tactful and non-judgmental manner.
- Empathetic, non-judgmental, and able to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Candidates who are able to support coaching sessions on weekdays and Saturdays between 9am to 9pm will be preferred.
