About Us

We are a fast-growing startup based in Singapore, building Pet Industry. As we scale, we’re looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager to own our finance and accounting function, build strong foundations, and grow with the business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, wearing multiple hats, and partnering closely with founders and leadership.

The Role

As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting activities while helping to establish scalable processes and controls. You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and month-end/year-end closing

• Prepare timely and accurate management reports and financial statements

• Ensure compliance with SFRS, GST, and Singapore tax regulations

• Handle GST filings, corporate tax matters, and liaise with tax agents and auditors

• Develop and improve accounting policies, processes, and internal controls

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

• Work closely with founders and operations teams on financial insights and decision-making

• Support fundraising, audits, and ad-hoc finance projects as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Professional qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) is a plus

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a startup or SME environment

• Strong understanding of Singapore accounting standards, GST, and statutory requirements

• Comfortable being hands-on and working with limited structure

• Experience with cloud-based accounting systems (Xero Accounting)

• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
