Pastoral Care Officer

Job Description

• Mentor and befriend High Needs Students (HNS).
• Support student discipline, behaviour and well-being.
• Assist with case management, follow-ups and documentation.
• Engage students and parents on identified concerns.
• Conduct motivational talks and simple physical activities.
• Monitor homework and student progress.
• Support school events and student programmes.
• Perform administrative and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of official information

Requirements

• Education: Minimum Diploma in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, Education or related field.
• Experience: Preferably experience in a school environment, youth work, student support or social services.
• Certification: Basic First Aid, Crisis De-escalation or Mental Health First Aid certification is an advantage
