Our client is a global leader in manufacturing of specialty chemical. This well recognised brand is recruiting a Production Manager to join their dynamic team.

about the job

• Responsible for planning, organizing and controlling of all production-related activities
• Ensure operations adhere to operating procedures, quality and safety requirements
• Review the operation of plant equipments and systems constantly
• Monitor, report, develop and implement improvement programs
• Lead a team to maximize productivity
• Collaborate to improve process, performance and management efficiency
• Support and participate in the EHS programs
• Support the Continuous Improvement programs

skills & experience required

• Master / Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of experience in chemical manufacturing environment
• Chemical coating / Printing Ink manufacturing background will be a big plus
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes on VSM, Kaizen
• Able to be hands on with the ground level personnel on the shop floor
• Well versed with lean manufacturing
• Willing to work in the west of Singapore (Tuas area)
• Comfortable in a new start up plant environment
