Architectural Coordinator

Job Descriptions:

1. To coordinate with consultants / subcontractors on the shop drawings / samples / method statements and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.
2. To attend to project / technical meeting and resolve site issues with owner / consultants in order for the site progress to proceed smoothly.
3. To verify the work done on site are in accordance to the approved drawings / specifications / authority’s requirement and also ensured that the subcontractor carry out rectification for non-compliance.
4. To resolve site issues with consultants / subcontractor / supplier ASAP in order to minimize delay to the construction progress.
5. To ensure that the related documentations are updated and ready for ISO audit.
6. To cooperate with the safety department and carry out the assigned duties within the safety framework.
7. Assist site management team in project Planning & coordination.
8. Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation.
9. Arrange and prepare documents for authorities’ submission for CONQUAS, RI, TOP etc.
10. To study tender / construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to understand project requirements.
11. Understanding of critical project criteria related to schedule & productivity.
12. Must be a team player and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
13. Strong oral and written communication skills.
14. Able to work independently, proactive and self-motivated.
15. Able to provide guidance to new staff / junior staff.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimun 10 years of relavent construction experience.
2. Relevant Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
3. Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
4. Knowledge of BIM and Green Mark will be an added advantage.
5. Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and local building regulations.
6. Ability to coordinate architectural, structural, and M&E works effectively.
7. Experience working with a Main Contractor is preferred.
