Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and capable individual to work with flexible sensors, wearable technologies, and benchtop biochemical analytics.
- Be familiar with electrochemistry and electrochemical detection/analytics, colorimetric assays, enzymatic reactions, and biochemistry.
- Be familiar with, and regular/daily wet-lab processes, materials processing, sample preparation, and electrochemical device preparation.
- Be familiar with device and materials characterisation, such as common electrochemical approaches (CV, amperometry, DPV, SWV, etc), impedance measurements, basic optical measurements, and standard microscopy.
- Possess basic computational abilities such as python, basic AI skills, with a keen eye for automation.
- Be highly motivated for intellectual output (problem solving, publications, IP and general knowledge creation), able to learn quick on the job, able to think outside the box for research and engineering solutions
Qualifications & Field of Study:
Bachelors in preferably biomedical engineering, or materials science and engineering; chemical or electronics engineering or related fields are also relevant.
- Good understanding of sensing materials, conductive/semiconductive materials, electronic devices, electrochemical sensors, and their related device engineering/development and characterisation tools
- Good with detailed hands-on work in wet lab, meticulous and attention to detail; good with characterisation measurements
- Have sufficient computational knowledge and abilities to complement research, including basic programming language, basic AI skills, awareness of automation etc.
- Basic awareness and knowledge of biosensors, wearables technology, healthcare/medtech landscape.

- Resourcefulness in problem solving
- Diligent and team player, work in multi-disciplinary environments.
