printing technician

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Printing Press Operator/technician to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our printing presses, ensuring the highest quality output, and meeting tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities:

· Set up, operate, and maintain [e.g., offset, digital, flexographic] printing presses.

· Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

· Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process to ensure consistency and color accuracy.

· Interpret job orders and work closely with the pre-press team to ensure specifications are met.

· Manage ink, paper, and other material inventory for assigned presses.

· Adhere to all company safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

· Meet production schedules and efficiency standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Proven experience (2+ years) as a Printing Press Operator.

· Strong understanding of color theory, registration, and print quality standards.

· Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

· Excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Vocational training or certification in Printing Technology.

· Experience with [mention specific press brands or types, e.g., Heidelberg, Komori].

· Knowledge of Pantone Matching System (PMS).

4 off days monthly, rest days depend on schedule. able to work long hours and late in evenings and weekends

Qualifications - diploma or high school diploma

Work experience- at least one year working experience in related fields
