AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC

Job Summary

Perform inspection, troubleshooting, testing, diagnosis, and preventive maintenance of heavy vehicles such as lorries and trucks to ensure safe and compliant operation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect heavy vehicles to identify faults and perform troubleshooting to diagnose issues accurately
• Conduct testing and diagnosis of vehicle systems to determine repair needs
• Perform regular preventive maintenance and servicing to maintain vehicle reliability and safety
• Ensure all repair and maintenance work complies with regulatory requirements, technical specifications, and company guidelines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment to support operational efficiency and safety
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete assigned tasks effectively
• Adapt to work at different sites and during weekends or public holidays as required

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in automotive servicing and repair
• Forklift licence is an added advantage
• Willingness to work independently and as part of a team
