Event Coordinator (Weekends Require)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact by answering phone calls, handling general enquiries, and warmly greeting parents, students, and visitors.

• Manage scheduling, staff and course rosters, and the printing, filing, and digital record-keeping of administrative documents using Microsoft Office.

• Perform general clerical duties and support day-to-day operational workflows.

• Source price quotations from suppliers and prepare Expenditure Requisition Forms (ERFs).

• Purchase necessary items from suppliers, including capital expenditures, kitchen supplies, stationery, uniforms, and event materials.

• Oversee vendor relations and ensure the proper storage and inventory tracking of stationery and uniforms.

• Liaise with vendors, support staff, and internal teams to prepare materials and logistics for events.

• Provide active operational support during weekend outreach programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Events Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in administrative, procurement, or event coordination roles.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and IT savvy.

• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload effectively, and work independently.

• Willingness to work on weekends to support outreach programs.
