Assistant Accountant

A growing real estate company with an established regional presence is looking to appoint an Assistant Accountant to support its finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional seeking a broad role encompassing accounting operations, compliance, financial reporting, and exposure to sustainability and ESG-related initiatives.

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day finance operations of designated entities, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets management. You will be responsible for monthly reconciliations, intercompany accounting, bank reconciliations, cash and treasury monitoring, as well as tax and GST compliance. You will also support audit and statutory reporting requirements, participate in budgeting and forecasting activities, and contribute to the Group's sustainability agenda through ESG reporting and related initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, coupled with at least 4 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably within the real estate sector. You should be a proactive and hands-on individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
