Customer Service Engineer
About this job
Key Responsibilities:
Commission and start up new products, systems, and solutions at customer sites.
Provide technical training and product knowledge sessions to customers, distributors, service partners.
Collaborate closely with partners and contractors on installation, testing, commissioning, and site acceptance activities.
Conduct UPS Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and support customer witness testing to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely through telephone, email, and online support platforms, ensuring timely issue resolution.
Prepare, maintain, and update accurate service reports, maintenance records, incident logs, and repair documentation.
Manage warranty claims, including submission, tracking, investigation, and closure of warranty cases.
Respond promptly to emergency service requests, critical equipment failures, and power outage incidents to minimize customer downtime.
Stay up to date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve technical expertise, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
Travel overseas as required to provide technical support, commissioning assistance, training, and troubleshooting support for customers and partners.
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, procedures, and standards, including the Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act.
Requirements:
- Education: Diplome in Electrical/electronic Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 3 years in uninterrupted power system or a related industrial setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading schematics, using diagnostic tools (Multimeters, Current Clamp), and working with HV/LV systems.
- Certifications: WSQ-Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health in Construction/Process plant/Shipyard in preferred.
- Physical Ability: Comfortable working in construction, Electrical room, and lifting to 20kg.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication abilities.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts and weekends as needed.
- Class 3 driving license is preferred
