Clinical Associate (Cardiothoracic Surgery)
About this job
You will assist in all aspects of pre-operative, operative and post-operative patient care in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Suitable candidates will be offered contract employment.
Requirements:
- A recognised basic medical degree
- Passed the national licensing examination as required in the country where the basic medical degree was conferred (if applicable)
- At least 5 years’ post-housemanship training in the relevant field, of which a minimum of 3 years must be in the cardiothoracic or general surgery area
- A good command of English (both written and spoken)
- Documented proof of:
(i) Measles (or Mumps ,Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity ;and
(ii) Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination taken during preceding 10 years at prevailing point of reference as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act with effect from 3 January 2022. Applicants without these vaccinations are welcome to apply if they undertake to complete the vaccination(s) before work commencement upon successful interview and are offered employment.
