AS400 Technical Lead

Technical Skills

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IBM AS400/iSeries development and support.
• Strong knowledge of:
• RPGLE
• SQLRPGLE
• CLLE
• DB2/400 Database
• Query/400
• DDS
• Subfiles
• Embedded SQL
• Experience with source version control and change management processes.
• Good understanding of batch processing, job scheduling, and system integrations.
• Experience in troubleshooting production issues and performance tuning.

Functional Skills

• Experience supporting banking, financial services, retail, or enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in project implementation and release management.
• Familiarity with UAT, SIT, Regression Testing, and Production Verification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with banking systems, payment systems, cards, loans, deposits, or core banking applications.
• Knowledge of Control-M or workload automation tools.
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, or modern integration technologies.
• Experience working in Agile or Hybrid project environments.
