About the Role

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to support the Department Manager in overseeing daily supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.

The role focuses on inventory control, supplier management, workforce planning, compliance, safety, and continuous improvement to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure on-time delivery and effective inventory control.

  • Work closely with Production, Sales, Finance, Quality and other departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

  • Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.

  • Monitor compliance with company SOPs, laws, regulations, ISO and safety requirements.

  • Plan and manage daily operations and workforce deployment.

  • Monitor workflow, productivity and work quality, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Analyze data and prepare reports to identify issues and improve processes.

  • Promote cross-training, teamwork and knowledge sharing within the department.

  • Implement and maintain 5S, housekeeping and safe working practices.

  • Support process improvements involving logistics, procurement, inventory and transportation.

  • Lead or participate in Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Handle ad-hoc projects and assignments when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.

  • At least 5 years of relevant supply chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in team leadership and supervision.

  • Strong knowledge of logistics, procurement, inventory management and transportation.

  • Experience in compliance, safety, environmental or trade regulations is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good numerical and data analysis abilities.

  • Good knowledge of ERP, inventory management and logistics systems.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

  • Proactive, hands-on and continuous improvement mindset.

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and handle ad-hoc assignments.

  • Experience with Manufacturing MNCs is an advantage.

  • Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, CPSM or Hazardous Substance Management will be an added advantage.


    **5 days work week (8am-4.45pm, Mon-Fri)
