Senior Mobile Engineer (iOS / Swift)

Our client is a technology company developing intelligent consumer applications with a strong focus on mobile user experience, product reliability and performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain production-grade iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.

• Develop and integrate AI-enabled features through backend APIs and services.

• Build intuitive user experiences for asynchronous interactions, including streaming responses, loading states, retries and fallback handling.

• Optimise application performance, responsiveness, memory usage and battery efficiency.

• Implement reliable asynchronous workflows using async/await, concurrency and background processing.

• Work closely with backend and machine learning engineers on API design, integration and application behaviour.

• Analyse user feedback, application analytics and production signals to improve product quality and functionality.

• Maintain high application stability and production standards, including troubleshooting issues and supporting ongoing App Store releases.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of iOS development experience, with hands-on experience building and maintaining production applications using Swift.

• Strong knowledge of SwiftUI, UIKit, async/await, concurrency and common iOS architecture patterns.

• Experience integrating REST/backend APIs; exposure to AI-enabled application features and handling latency or partial failures would be advantageous.

• Hands-on experience integrating AI-powered features

• Strong understanding of iOS performance, memory and battery optimisation; exposure to CoreML or on-device machine learning is an advantage.
